Fun Times

Levi is spending Memorial Day with Grandma.  He is having fun and being quite the character.  To start with, he realized his blankie was here.  He has missed it all week.  He was so excited, he first wraps himself in it on the floor.

He moves to the rocking chair.

Then he starts singing
"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".

Next, he realizes I have bubbles in the closet. At first, having me blow bubbles at him was great fun.

But then he wanted to blow them himself.
Such an independent little boy.

Lastly, Michael sent a short video of Chloe.
She is now riding her bike!

I enjoy watching the grandkids grow.
It brings such joy to my heart.  ðŸ˜Š

Random Posts

No rhyme or reason here.  Just wanted to share some quick snapshots that were either shared with me, or that I took myself.

Levi ready for a swim.
The next Michael Phelps?

A black snake crawling up our wall.

No, wait, it decided to turn around.

It is a long one.

Clif enjoying some time to himself.
He needs much rest after such a busy year.
His employer stated that once he starts his next job in June, he won't be able to take vacation for a year!

School is still in session until May 31.
I will take my time and visit family then.

Birthday Weekend

Last weekend was a wonderful weekend with family.  Not only was it Mother's Day weekend, but May 14 was Chloe's 4th birthday!  Stephen had come over with Levi on Saturday.  He wanted to watch the race with Dad.

Here is a side note kicker for everyone....we now have Directv!  Was it pursued on our behalf? No, absolutely not.  AT&T happens to be putting in fiber optic cable throughout our neighborhood.  Naturally, they send in their representative to "sell" us something.  Being we have everything with them, including our house phone (yes, we still have a landline), they stated they could bundle a package and it was the same price of our services we currently have, but for that price would also include Directv.  For how long? 3 months? No, it turned out they would price guarantee for 2 years.  I told Clif in 2 years, we can go back to our archaic way of living if the price escalates the way I think it will.  In the meantime, he is enjoying the benefits. And for me, I will be watching the bill closely, because if they fed us a line, I won't be too happy.

Now back to our festivities...

My friend Jennifer saw this pretty dress and couldn't resist getting it for Chloe.  Chloe loves her dress.  She is playing with her baby doll giving her a shot.

Valerie had put Judith in the back room for some peace and quiet.  She didn't get any.  The others soon joined her.  I just love the way Levi is covering her with the blanket.
Aaaahhhh!

I love the way they begin to notice someone is watching them.  The progression is priceless. 👀

Moments later, Levi was back in there consoling Judith.
He loves her, and is so gentle!
He will be a great big brother someday.

When Chloe got up Sunday, it didn't take her long to get cozy under a blanket.  I didn't realize she had taken one of my prayer books with her.  She was saying her prayers,
"Jesus, I love you!"
She kept repeating phrases like that as she flipped through the pages.  Another "aaahhhh" moment.👼

 Look who is jealous.
I want my picture taken too!

This short video will let you know how excited Chloe is about her birthday.

After they got home, we had a birthday celebration of our own.
First up, presents.

Grandpa and Judith

More presents....

But her favorite part.....CUPCAKES!!!!

Even Levi was happy to be singing
Happy Birthday!

Time to blow out the candle.

Happy Birthday dear Chloe.
We wish you many more!

Little Munchkins

The kids were together last weekend.  I had gotten the bed ready for Clif as he had to get up early for work the next day, only the grandkids beat him to it!

"Let's sneak into bed before grandpa."
"Do you think he will notice?"

"Hey, just wait a minute, we're not ready yet!"

"Ok, we're settled in.  You can't make us leave."

"You think you can make us leave? We're not going anywhere!"
"Heeeheeee.!"

Of course, we can't have a post of little munchkins without Judith!
