Finally, it's Ash Wednesday. Officially I can be in the desert to learn God's lessons (even though I've felt I've been there since January!). I can reflect, and take to heart what messages God has to present to me. It was a great way to get myself ready for this 40 day journey. I listened to the video byte this morning, read the readings, prayed the prayers, and reflected on the messages. I'll be using this resource the entire Lenten Season. I have to say, I have felt such peace today. Even in the fasting, I wasn't hungry because I was content in the Lord.
I am eagerly awaiting to see the transformation that occurs during this Lenten Season. :)
