Our reunion started with a visit to Aunt Aldys at the nursing home. Pizza was ordered in, and the socializing began.
Tseganesh, Rihobot, and Diane
Aunt Aldys and Jay
Dad and Mike
Tseganesh, Cheri, Rihobot, and Barb
Janelle and Aunt Aldys (Janelle and Dave adopted the 2 sisters from Ethiopia)
Ilene and her grandson Benton
Clif, Dave, Jay, Tseganesh (she likes photobombing pictures!) and Jim
Then Tseganesh asks me, "and do we have a picture of you?" And she took one. She is so sweet. Actually both of these girls are full of life and have a spark in their eyes...they are so full of the Holy Spirit!
Next up, the banquet on Sunday night.
We started with an activity called "Who Am I?" Family members sent in a hidden fact about themselves that no one knew. Then we had to determine who our mystery person was. Not all were able to find their person because of late arrivals, but those who participated had a good time.
We also had pictures of previous reunions to reminisce about as well as baby pictures for the "Name That Baby" game. It was fun evening!
We did manage to get a family photo of all 38 of us in attendance. Many had left before I had a chance to get a picture of each family individually. Kids still have their bedtimes!
We also had a slide show "Through the Years". Each family has a copy of it on a USB. I know Jon and Jay each have one, so does Jim and Jane in Texas. I have it for the Miller Gang. So, if you want a copy, just let one of us know, and we'll get a copy to you. Lots of great comments were shared about the show.

And for our evening entertainment, we played Family Feud. This was a LOT of FUN!!!
Here are a few video clips to give you an idea of we played.
Monday we had our picnic at Como Park Zoo. The day started off on the cool side, but quickly warmed up. I guess you could say cool to us Floridians!
Activities were geared towards the younger crowd.
A nice spread was put on courtesy of Cheri, Jay, and Janelle.
We spent some time at the zoo.
I even got to take Chloe on a train ride.
One last picture with those of us who sported our Miller Time hats. Thanks Jim, you did a great job on the color and design.
Tuesday was our free day. Clif and I went to Minnehaha Falls.
We enjoyed a nice hike down to the Mississippi River. It's hard to believe that this oasis exists in the middle of downtown Minneapolis!
When we got down to the river, this was the view to the left...
...and this was the view to the right.
When we were done, we joined our cousins at the Mall of America for lunch at Nordstroms. Believe it or not, it was only a 10 minute drive from where we were.
Our last event was dinner at Jon and Ilene's house Tuesday night. They had delicious food, and photo albums galore to look through.
As I was going through the photo albums, I came across this picture. Who does it look like? I didn't know we were related to such a relative! Don't know who she is but I certainly know who she looks like!!
It was great to see all the Millers who were able to make it to the reunion. Mike and Barb did state they hope to plan the next reunion for June of 2018 in New Orleans. I am looking forward to it. I hope more can make it being it is closer to those living in the south.
